Fr. John’s Journal

Fr. John Hedges, Spiritual Director

World Apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima

What was the “secret” of the martyrs who bravely endured the greatest torments, the humiliations and sufferings associated with their cruel deaths? The “secret” was the devotion to the

Sacred Passion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ!

And what is the most perfect expression of this devotion to the Passion? The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass! In these sacred mysteries the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ is mystically made present in our midst with all the infinite merits and graces

flowing from Our Savior’s Blood on Calvary.

Attend daily Mass out

of love for Jesus Christ and His Sorrowful Mother. Add to the

Mass the recitation of the Sorrowful Mysteries of the

Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. You will obtain from God the conversion of sinners. This salvation of the dying and the consolations and deliverance of the souls in Purgatory.

What greater almsgiving can there possibly be?

What greater Charity!

Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I love you.

Please save souls!

Oh! if people could understand beforehand the sweetness and the peace enjoyed by those who hold nothing back from the Good God! How
He communicates Himself to the soul who sincerely seeks Him and who knows how to surrender herself. Let them just experience it,
and they will see that therein is found the true happiness which they are vainly seeking elsewhere. “
